Someone asked me recently if I hadn’t found ABC Fitness, would I still have found success in losing weight and keeping it off. That is a hard question.
I think the honest answer is probably no. Mainly because, even though I was exercising intermittently, I didn’t even realize I had an issue. Hard to believe but true. I had convinced myself that status quo, what I already looked like and who I was, was ok, mainly because I didn’t know how to change. I think subconsciously I was looking for help but didn’t know it.
I think that’s why ABC just kind of snuck up on me. I got way more than I bargained for and began to realize that I did have a say in and an actual ability to change what I once thought was impossible.
Change is scary and at first success was just as scary because failure had always repeatedly followed success. I did not know what to do when change meant change. The emotional battle was real over consistently doing what I was learning, and falling back into old comfortable habits.
Time is the connecting point to all progress. I am so thankful I have been afforded the time to process, learn, commit, and love this new way of life.

So happy that my life did get better by chance and by an opportunity to change.
